PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air humidification method using a skew honeycomb which can continuously supply humidification air and which does not generate a problem of odor during humidification, without providing an additional air humidification device and without using pure water as humidification water. SOLUTION: In the air humidification method, air to be humidified is made to contact humidification water in the skew honeycomb to carry out a humidification process for humidifying the air to be humidified. During the humidification process, the humidification water containing hypochlorous acid is supplied into the skew honeycomb as the humidification water to humidify the air to be humidified, while a humidification/sterilization process for sterilizing the skew honeycomb is intermittently/repeatedly carried out.
