The carrier has a heating unit i.e. heating plate (17), inserted into a recess. A thermal insulation unit is arranged on a side of the heating unit, where the side is turned away from a contact surface of the carrier. Cast mold parts lies against the contact surface. The heating unit exhibits different heating powers that are independently controllable. The carrier is designed as a mold carrier plate. The heating unit is positioned relative to the contact surface in a flush-mounted or recessed manner. The carrier is pivotably supported on a common frame.
