<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately align a projection image and a scan image. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image combination apparatus connected to a whiteboard and an image projection device, and the apparatus includes at least an image output section for outputting projection image data to the image projection device, an operating section for designating an arbitrary position on a projection image, an image processing section for generating projection image data having an image of a predetermined mark at a coordinate position corresponding to a position on the projection image designated by the operating section so as to display the predetermined mark at the designated position, a storage section for storing the coordinate information of two or more reference points on a surface of the whiteboard, and an image input section for inputting scan image data from the whiteboard.
