METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SHORT-CIRCUIT PORTION OF WIRE HARNESS, AND SHORT-CIRCUIT PORTION OF WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a short-circuit portion of wire harness and a short-circuit portion of a wire harness, for use in an area requiring waterproofing without significantly increasing the cost.

SOLUTION: A connector JC is prepared which includes a short-circuit member 30 for shorting branch wires 14 each other and a housing 40 which holds the short-circuit member 30 so that a wire-side terminal 20 is connected to the short-circuit member 30 inside. A plurality of branch wires 14 are connected to the connector JC for the branch wires 14 to be short-circuited each other. An electric contact point protection agent G which is fluent and prevents entrance of water content is packed inside the housing 40. A curing type resin in fluent state is attached so that an opening of the housing 40 is covered. The curing type resin is cured to form a flow-out prevention layer 55 which prevents the electric contact point protection agent G from flowing out of the opening.
