<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for an image forming apparatus, which announces abnormality together with a fault emergency degree indicating a situation worsening speed when the abnormality is predicted. <P>SOLUTION: A management device to be used in the management system for the image forming apparatus performs processing as follows. The featured variable of the image forming apparatus is calculated on the basis of situation information, so as to store the tendency result of the featured value. A predictive result is identified by discrimination on the basis of the tendency result. A former predictive detection result for preperformed predictive detection is compared with a latter predictive detection result. When the former predictive detection result exists, the emergency degree is calculated, and then, latter predictive date data in the applying image forming apparatus is deleted to announce the emergency degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
