<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that since a laver plucking square ship and a laver distribution processor ship are towed by a mother ship to a laver farm and an outboard motor is installed in the ship on the spot, the removing work of the outboard motor arises every time, which results in the possibility of the breakage of screws for fixing the outboard motor, and also since the mounting work of the outboard motor takes place at sea and the hull is shaken due to waves or the like, the work is hard and takes a lot of time. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary apparatus for mounting is previously installed in a position on which the outboard motor of the laver plucking square ship or the laver distribution processor ship is mounted. In a fixing method, a set upper fitting 4 located in the upper part of an auxiliary apparatus body 1 is opened to a front part, and therein the outboard motor is installed, and the set upper fitting previously opened is closed so as to be fitted below an angle 6 for fixing a set upper, and is fixed to the auxiliary apparatus with a set upper fixing pin 7.
