<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device for an internal combustion engine which can be manufactured at a low cost without spoiling workability during manufacturing, moreover reduce the mixing of foreign bodies, and can be used at a high current. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition device 1 for an internal combustion engine which stores an ignition coil 2 or the like in an exterior case 5 uses an ignitor substrate 3 mounting a power transistor 31, a current limiting circuit, etc. on a substrate as an ignitor for controlling the conduction/interception of a primary current in the ignition coil 2. To a terminal 4 for collector connection having a substrate mounting surface 41 with an area increased more than that of this ignitor substrate 3, the ignitor substrate 3 is firmly fixed by a silicone adhesive having excellent thermal conductivity. Thereby, the terminal 4 for collector connection is used as a radiator, and the connection between each electrode part and terminals of the power transistor 31 is performed by a base connection wire 61B, an emitter connection wire 61E, and a collector connection wire 61C by wire bonding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
