PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fat-splitting microorganism or the like which can efficiently treat a fat-containing wastewater.

SOLUTION: The fat-splitting microorganism, Acinetobacter sp. KY3 strain (FERM P-21887) is provided. The fat-splitting microorganism has high fat-splitting ability and high affinity for a carrier like a resin-made contact material. In addition, it has excellent symbiotic performance with other microorganisms. The present invention provides a microbial immobilization carrier to which the fat-splitting microorganism is immobilized, a wastewater treatment method using the fat-splitting microorganism or the microbial immobilization carrier, and a wastewater treatment system having the fat-splitting microorganism or the microbial immobilization carrier.
