<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-junction solar cell that holds maximum output as a solar cell constant for a long period and achieves stable output while suitably adjusting an increase and a decrease in maximum output in accordance with weather change etc., after installation. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-junction solar cell formed by stacking a plurality of solar cell elements in layers has a light transmittance control layer formed on a light receiving surface thereof and also has a control IC, electrically connected to electrode layers of the solar cell elements, formed adjacently to the solar cell elements, and is characterized in that the control IC performs control to decrease light transmittance of the light transmittance control layer in a direction wherein the amount of power generation is decreased to approximate an initial set value when the amount of power generation is larger than the initial set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
