<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell that holds maximum output as a solar cell constant for a long period although the output of the solar cell decreases as a semiconductor used for the solar cell deteriorates with time from an initial state of installation. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-junction solar cell formed by stacking a plurality of solar cell elements in layers has a light transmittance control layer formed on a light receiving surface thereof and also has a control IC, electrically connected to electrode layers of the solar cell elements, formed adjacently to the solar cell elements, and is characterized in that the light transmittance of the light transmittance control layer is controlled by the control IC to increase with time from a state of small light transmittance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
