PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pottery storage basket structured to easily prevent a damage to pottery and applicable to those already structured. SOLUTION: The bottom face 1A and the four side walls positioned on the four sides of the bottom face of this pottery storage basket 1 are structured with a plurality of metal wire materials 2, 3 arranged in parallel in a matrix on the flat rectangle bottom face 1A. A tube 5 whose diameter is larger than that of the material 2 for the long side is inserted on the bottom face 1A part of the material 2 having an axis direction in parallel with the long side of the face 1A to cover the same. The material 3 for the short side having an axis direction orthogonal to the long side is positioned on the bottom face of the material 2 for the tube 5 to expose on the pottery storage face side of the basket.
