PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "an on-vehicle device" capable of easily inputting information on a vehicle component which is a maintenance object when performing maintenance. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle device includes a detecting means for detecting a state change in respective components for constituting a vehicle, a display means for displaying a maintenance item input image screen for inputting an inspection place of the vehicle, a storage means for storing state change data on the respective components, and a control means for storing the state change data on the respective components acquired from the detecting means in the storage means. The control means displays the maintenance item input image screen on an image screen of the display means when starting an engine of the vehicle when determining that the maintenance of the vehicle is performed based on the state change data on the respective components. The control means determines that the maintenance of the vehicle is performed when there is the state change in any component among the state change data on the respective components acquired from the detecting means.
