PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus which can record high-quality prints without a nozzle opening clogged during a printing operation. SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting head 10 which ejects a liquid from a nozzle towards a medium P; and a moisture retention body 70 which is arranged on a side of the liquid ejecting head 10, humidifies part of an air flow generated through the relative movement of the fluid ejecting head 10 and the medium P, and guides the air flow to between a nozzle formation surface 21A of the liquid ejecting head 10 and the medium P.
