PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for stacking ceramic green sheets, capable of stacking and fixing the ceramic green sheets on a patch without shifting. SOLUTION: The device for stacking ceramic green sheets sucks the upper sides of patches or the ceramic green sheets sequentially fed to a carrier table by a stacking head, abuts the stacking bed on the lower sides of the sucked patches or ceramic green sheets, and stacks them on the stacking bed. The patch includes a plurality of catching holes. The device includes a pressing rod for pushing the ceramic green sheets into the catching holes to fix them when the first ceramic green sheet sucked by the stacking heat is positioned and stacked on the patch already stacked on the stacking bed.
