PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool having an impact mechanism in which a hammer hardly displaces with respect to a hammer case covering the hammer and leakage of grease stored in the hammer case hardly occurs. SOLUTION: The impact tool 1 includes a motor 3, a housing 6 for covering the motor, a hammer 41 rotated by the motor, an anvil 46 struck by the hammer in the rotating direction, a hammer case 5 for covering the hammer and the anvil, and a tip tool holding part connected to the anvil and projecting from the front of the hammer case.
