<p>The system and method for treating sleep apnoea and snoring comprises a dismantleable collar constituted by a tubular sleeve inside which runs a strip, which is between 2 and 4 cm thick, of foam rubber or similar material, which is applied around the neck or around a portion thereof, requiring the head to be held upright and the muscle tissue of the throat to be kept stretched, the collar being divided into three main sections, namely: the front, where the strip adopts a curved or angular shape; the lateral sections that act as support for the front section; and the rear section whereat the ends of the sleeve and/or of the lateral sections of foam rubber or of tape extensions joined to said lateral sections are connected.</p> |
