The tire has profile bands (1-7) limited by upper surface (22) along radial direction of a road contacting region. A contour line is formed at edge extension portions (24, 25) based on cutoff points of the bands between a middle extension portion (23) and the edge extension portions. The contour line runs up to peripheral points along radial direction, where the peripheral points limit the edge extension portions. Axial distance (c) is formed between the cutoff points that are closely arranged at the bands.
