<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device simple and inexpensive as compared with an input device using an acceleration switch or a piezoelectric gyro, by detecting the displacement acceleration of a racket-shaped input using a piezoelectric buzzer element. <P>SOLUTION: Two racket-shaped input devices 32 are used to play a battle game. The racket-shaped input devices 32 include the piezoelectric buzzer elements 66, wherein when the racket input devices 32 are displaced, an acceleration correlation electric signals generated in the piezoelectric buzzer element 66 are processed by a MCU (Micro-Controller Unit) 50 to obtain acceleration data, and the acceleration data is transmitted as a transmission code from an infrared LED 34. A game processor detects acceleration data from a receiving code received by an infrared light receiving element, and controls the movement of a ball of a table tennis game on a television monitor based on the acceleration data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
