<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed electric power by automatically authenticating whether or not a vehicle is a power feeding-permitted registered vehicle E. <P>SOLUTION: A power feeding system comprises a power feeding device 10 for the electric automobile E and a power feeding server 30 which exchanges information with the power feeding device through a communication network 20. The power feeding device photographs a license number N by a camera 11 and sends information on it to the power feeding server through the communication network 20. The power feeding server determines whether a number thereof is registered, prompts a registered mobile phone T to input a password through the communication network 21, and permits the power feeding device to feed electric power once the password is inputted. The power feeding device once permitted to feed the electric power feeds the electric power by connecting a power feeding plug of the vehicle to the power feeding device as usual. When the charging completion time comes, power feeding end information is transmitted to the power feeding server which transmits the power feeding end information to the mobile phone.
