摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular power transmission device computing a speed ratio in the whole speed ratio change range of a torque converter. <P>SOLUTION: When a capacity coefficient Cre of the torque converter 16 is a preset threshold CreA or larger, a speed ratio (e) is computed based on actual power transmission efficiencyηfrom a unique relationship between the predetermined power transmission efficiencyηand the speed ratio (e). The speed ratio (e) is thereby computed using the unique relationship between the speed ratio (e) and the power transmission efficiencyηeven in a second speed ratio change range R2 in which the capacity coefficient Cre is the threshold Crea or larger and the speed ratio (e) is not uniquely determined with respect to the capacity coefficient Cre.
