PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable and a wire harness equipped with the same capable of reducing the number of components, and aiming at weight saving and downsizing. SOLUTION: The wire harness 1 is provided with the flat cable 2, and a connector 3. The flat cable 2 is provided with a plurality of electric wires 4 arranged parallel to each other, at least one line wire 8 fitted parallel to the plurality of electric wires 4 and structured of metal having rigidity capable of retaining its shape once it is plastically deformed, and long-size wefts 9 crossing the plurality of electric wires 4 and the line wire 8, and intertwining with the plurality of electric wires 4 and warps 8 so as to float and sink among them at a constant rule.
