PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method which can simultaneously input at least either one of letters and numerals based on an operation of a means for determining direction. SOLUTION: The electronic device includes a display section 21, an operating section 11 having a plurality of means for determining direction for defining the directions mutually different, and a controller 45 which makes the display section 21 display the letters and numerals inputted when the operating section 11 makes the predetermined operation and makes the display section 21 display other selected letters and numerals by selecting other letters and numerals for changing at least either one of letters and numerals inputted to and displayed on the display section 21 to other letters and numerals when the letters and numerals are inputted to and displayed on the display section 21 and further any direction is defined by the means for determining direction.
