PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve stabilized in drive characteristics of a valve member and having high durability. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection valve 10 intermittently injecting fuel with the valve member 40 housed in a valve housing 11 which applies a pushing axial force to a support surface 1d side under the condition that the valve housing 11 is pushed to the support surface 1d of an internal combustion engine 1, a coil housing 66 covering an electromagnetic coil 61 from an outer peripheral side includes: a first cylindrical part 662 into which the valve housing 11 is pressed into an inner peripheral side thereof on the support surface 1d side than the coil 61 and which forms a magnetic circuit for generating magnetic force according to the carrying of electricity to the coil 61 together with the valve housing 11; a second cylindrical part 664 arranged adjacent to the first cylindrical part 662 at the support surface 1d side and welded to the valve housing through a radial gap Gr formed between the valve housing 11 at an inner peripheral side thereof; and a projecting part 666 brought into contact with the support surface 1d, projecting toward the inner peripheral side than the second cylindrical part pinched between the first cylindrical part 662, and engaged with the valve housing 11 at a side opposite to the support surface 1d.
