PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of improving working efficiency in maintenance-inspection in a car. SOLUTION: The car 2 is provided with guide devices 10 and 11 for moving the car 2 along a car guide rail while being guided by the car guide rail. Wind straightening covers 13 and 14 are arranged in an upper part and a lower part of the car 2. The wind straightening covers 13 and 14 include covers 16 and 19 for the car and covers 17 and 20 for a guide detachably arranged in the covers 16 and 19 for the car and covering the guide devices 10 and 11. The car 2 is provided with cover rail devices 31 and 32 for guiding the covers 17 and 20 for the guide removed from the covers 16 and 19 for the car in the vertical direction.
