PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die with a seal plate which is easily maintained and is adaptable to a large die and in which, even if thermal expansion or the like is caused, the proper sealing position of the seal plate is secured, and it can be securely sealed, and further, which has no risk of breakage. SOLUTION: The die 10 includes: a fixed die 10; a movable die 20 provided in a freely advanceable/retreatable manner relative to the fixed die; a sliding die 30 assembled to the movable die 20 so as to be slid in a direction crossing the advancing/retreating direction of the movable die 20; and a seal plate 50 performing sealing so as to cover the boundary between the clamped fixed die 10 and sliding die 30 and the boundary between the movable die 20 and the sliding die 30. The die 10 employs a floating structure in which the sliding die 30 is fixed to the tip of the cylinder rod 42 of a cylinder 40, and the seal plate 50 is engaged with the cylinder rod 42 movably in the telescoping direction of the cylinder rod 42 and the seal plate 50 is elastically energized to a movement direction by springs.
