PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily add or exclude a terminal that shares a file to/from terminals to be synchronized, or easily change settings in accordance with a change in server configuration, when the file is shared by a plurality of users by synchronizing the files in a server. SOLUTION: A first terminal 101 includes a file synchronization management device 1, a file synchronizing device 2 and an internal memory 910. The file synchronization management device 1 embeds synchronization setting information for synchronization with a server in a synchronization setting file associated with storage means identification information for identifying an internal memory 910 to store it in the internal memory 910, and the file synchronizing device 2 synchronizes the internal memory 910 with the server on the basis of the synchronization setting information of the stored synchronization setting information to thereby control synchronization in a plurality of terminals only by managing a storage state in the internal memory 910.
