PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change a function and an operation screen depending on the age of a user viewing a television. SOLUTION: A digital television includes: a user identification part for identifying the user viewing a digital television; an age-to-function list for holding the setting information of the function corresponding to the age of the user as a list; and a user management part for specifying the age of the user identified in the user identification part and acquiring the setting information of the function corresponding to the specified age from the age-to-function list.
