PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biofuel cell of a negative electrode independently replaceable type, which is based on the premise that a positive-electrode catalyst and an electrolyte membrane are repeatedly used without lowering power generating performance when the biofuel cell is used. SOLUTION: The fuel cell 100 includes a positive electrode 60 and a negative electrode 90 opposed to each other via the electrolyte membrane 70, the negative electrode 90 being replaceable independently from the positive electrode 60.
