The holder has a lock e.g. clamp (4), for fixing a memory card (1) in a locked condition, and separating the memory card in an unlocked condition. A plug portion comprises two guide strips (3) for the lateral guiding of the memory card during plugging in and plugging off of the memory card. The plug portion and the lock are connected with each other by a releasable fastener e.g. snatching mechanism. The lock comprises two lateral openings for fastening at the plug portion. The plug portion comprises a guide wall for the memory card.
