The generator has positive and negative load charge carriers disconnected via an electrical or magnetic field. The charge carriers are connected to an electrode (E2) of the generator, so that assigned gas or gaseous mixture is not consumed and is provided in a closed circuit. A permanent magnet or a superconductive magnet creates the magnetic field, and a negative electrode of the generator is coated with an electric conductive porous catalyst layer (E1) selected from platinum or nickel-tin. A surface area of a positive electrode is coated with precious metal.
