<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium which can form clear images in details, can suppress density unevenness of a recording image formed by the same application energy and is suitable for medical imaging diagnoses. <P>SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording medium has at least a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a coloring agent and a protection layer, on a support.
