<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal stripe type solid oxide fuel cell bundle having a high reliability for a long period and a fuel cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The horizontal stripe type solid oxide fuel cell bundle 1 is composed of a plurality of horizontal stripe type solid oxide fuel battery cell stacks 1, which is composed of a plurality of fuel cells 13 arranged in parallel on a surface of a porous supporting body having electric insulation, electrically connected with cell stack connecting members 15 interposed. The cell stack connecting members 15 are arranged each between neighboring cell stacks 2, 2, and are provided with a plurality of current passages independently structured in which one of one side cell stack connecting members to be connected to neighboring one of the cell stacks 2 and one of the other side cell stack connecting members to be connected to the neighboring other cell stack 2 corresponding to the one of the cell stack connecting members on the one side are electrically connected.
