<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for control of a piezoelectric actuator, capable of stably driving the piezoelectric actuator with high power. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a drive means 310 for supplying a drive signal with a prescribed frequency to a piezoelectric element, a displacement detection unit 330 for detecting a mechanical displacement of the piezoelectric element, a memory 340 for sequentially storing displacement signals V1, V2, and a drive-frequency control unit 320 for controlling the frequency of a drive signal via the drive means 310 on the basis of the displacement detected by the displacement detection unit 330 and the displacement stored by the memory 340. The drive-frequency control unit 320 sweeps the frequency of the drive signal so as to detect the maximum displacement of a piezoelectric actuator, and also sweeps the frequency toward a drive frequency corresponding to target displacement determined on the basis of the maximum displacement. After reaching the drive frequency corresponding to the target displacement, the frequency is controlled so as to allow the displacement signal to follow the target displacement by varying the frequency of the drive signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
