PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively achieve a safety device capable of detecting interference with an obstacle with accuracy during opening/closing of a separator 2 and securely carrying out the stop or reversal movement of the separator 2 in an opening/closing device 3 of a safety cover having the separator 2 that is automatically opened/closed. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device of the safety cover includes control means 46, 5 for controlling supply of a working fluid to a cylinder actuator 31 to allow the separator 2 to stop or move reversely when parameters relative to the pressure or flowing amount of the working fluid on a supply circuit 4 detected by a detection means 45 fluctuates while the separator 2 moves between a closed state and an opened state by operating an operating means 42.
