PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material whose work environment is good and whose hydrolysis resistance and flame retardancy are excellent by adding a flame retardant and a cyclic carbodiimide to a polylactic acid resin with small environmental load. SOLUTION: The composition contains based on (A) 100 pts.wt. of polylactic acid (component A): (B) 0.001-10 pts.wt. of a compound (component B) including cyclic structure represented by the following formula (1), having one carbodiimide group of which the first nitrogen and the second nitrogen are bonded through a bonding group, and composed of 8-50 atoms; and (C) 1-100 pts.wt. of at least one flame retardant (component C) selected from the group consisting of a phosphorus-based flame retardant (component C-1), a nitrogen-based flame retardant (component C-2), a metal hydroxide-based flame retardant (component C-3), a metal oxide-based flame retardant (component C-4), and a bromine-based flame retardant (component C-5).
