摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool an electronic apparatus having a high amount of heat generation from itself and requiring a precise operation of a computer, a server, etc. at a low running cost. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling system 10 includes: a server rack 26 for housing the electronic apparatus; an evaporator 34 disposed at the rear surface side of the server rack 26 for cooling the heat released from the electronic apparatus by a refrigerant; a sliding mechanism 50 which connects the server rack 26 and the evaporator 34 so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction with respect to the server rack 26; a cooling tower 38 which is provided at a higher place than the evaporator 34 and condenses the refrigerant by cooling of the external air and sprinkled water; a circulation line 40 which transfers the refrigerant between the evaporator 34 and the cooling tower 38; a heat exchanger 54 connected to the circulation line so as to form a parallel relation with the cooling tower 38; and flexible pipes 78, 80 connecting the circulation line 40 and the evaporator 34, and extendable and contractible in response to the movement of the evaporator 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
