<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED flash device suitable for miniaturization, which uses a lithium ion capacitor, and to provide electronic equipment on which the LED flash device is mounted. <P>SOLUTION: The LED flash device includes: an LED as a light source; the lithium ion capacitor for driving the LED; a nonaqueous-system secondary battery for charging the lithium ion capacitor; a controller that controls the light emitting state of the LED including flash pulse width; and a first switching element that turns on/off current flowing in the LED according to control by the controller. Then, the lithium ion capacitor comprises at least two or more cells, and the LED flash device includes: a monitor circuit for monitoring full charge voltage of each cell when charging the cells; and a second switching element capable of opening and closing connection of the cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
