PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of inexpensively producing a test body providing a nondestructive inspection signal equivalent with that of actual stress corrosion cracking while quantitatively controlling properties thereof. SOLUTION: In the test body, after irregularities are formed at part of joint interface of two or more metal test pieces having the joint interface, these test pieces are mutually solid-phase joined and a joint portion and a connecting portion area are provided at the joint interface. The nondestructive inspection test body includes the connecting portion area of the metal test pieces before connection consists of irregularities of ≥50 μm of roughness Ry and the roughness Ra at the joint portion other than the connecting portion area is ≤10 μm.
