PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display sheet capable of obtaining a display sheet having a desired shape and size, without accompanying breakdown of microcapsules. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a display sheet 200, including a display layer 230 containing a plurality of microcapsules 231, wherein electrophoretic particles to be charged positive or negative are stored movably includes: a step of forming the display layer 230 by applying a coating liquid 600, containing the plurality of microcapsules 231 to one surface of a sheet member 510, in which cuts (brittle parts) 510a capable of forming parting lines are formed; and a step of dividing the sheet member 510 into a plurality of sheet member pieces 550 along the cuts 510a, by applying stress onto the sheet member 510 on which the display layer 230 has been formed.
