The exhaust gas purification filter (1) has a base substrate (2), multiple cells (4), which are composed of inlet cells (41) and outlet cells (42). Multiple separation walls (3) are made of porous material and are arranged in a grid arrangement to form the cells, where multiple plugging elements (5) are provided. The rear end part of each inlet cell is positioned at a downstream side of the exhaust stream and the front end of each inlet cell is open and through this the exhaust gas is let inside the exhaust gas purification filter.
