<p>Non-combustible coating composition for application to a support e.g. ceilings and/or walls, comprises at least one mineral fiber and at least one binder, where the mineral fiber is of natural origin and the coating composition is applied to the support as a non-combustible mixture according to the building material class A2 DIN 4201. An independent claim is also included for producing the non-combustible coating composition for application to the support, comprising selecting at least one mineral fiber, at least one binder and/or an inorganic pigment, mixing the selected components to form a mixture, where at least one binder comprises at least a part of carboxymethyl cellulose in an amount of 5-15 mass-%, preferably 10 mass-%, adding a predetermined amount of solvent to the mixture, mixing the coating composition and applying the coating composition onto the support, where the support exhibits a pre-coating.</p> |
