<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client server system in which a user of a terminal-side device verifies the condition of a host-side device and copes with failure even if it occurs in a network part of the host-side device which is the server in the client server system, and a remote connection control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The host-side device 1 includes a host-side basic device 5 having a first screen transmission means 13 and a microcomputer 2 having a second screen transmission means 23. The terminal-side device 3 includes first and second operational information transmission means 33 and 34. A pair of the first screen transmission means 13 and the first operational information transmission means 33 and a pair of the second screen transmission means 23 and the second operational information transmission means 34 constitute two independent remote connection means that connect the host-side device 1 and the terminal-side device 3 through a network.
