<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus allowing suppression of a measurement error of an earth magnetic sensor caused by operation of a user to an operation button in an operation device including the operation button and the magnetic sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus is connected to the operation device including the magnetic sensor and the operation button used for operation input by a user, and is configured to: receive, from the operation device, a detection result of the magnetic sensor and information indicating operation contents of the user to the operation button; determines whether or not the operation button has been operated, by using the received information indicating the operation; and, when it is determined that the operation button has been operated, restrict a posture of the operation device from being identified by using the detection result of the magnetic sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
