PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positional deviation of a recording head and facilitate attachment and removal of the recording head. SOLUTION: A recorder includes a fixing mechanism 3 which has: an arm 31 journaled by a support shaft 25 parallel to a width direction and turnable so as to be disposed in a fixing position where the recording head 1 is fixed and a releasing position where recording head 1 is released from being fixed; and a hook 35 for locking the arm 31 in the fixing position. While the outside portions of both ends of an ejection face 9a in a lengthwise direction of the recording head 1 is supported from a direction opposite the ejection face 9a by a bottom plate 23 of a support frame 2, the arm 31 is locked in the fixing position. Thereby the outside portions of both ends of the ejection face 9a in the lengthwise direction of the recording head 1 are sandwiched and fixed between the first and second pressing portions 33 and 34 attached to the arm 31, and the bottom plate 23.
