PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality of a wheel speed sensor without being affected by an error of a sensor mounting position, external noise, and the like. SOLUTION: An average rotating speed is detected by the wheel speed sensors of right and left driving wheels, a wheel speed converted value is detected by a rotating sensor in a transmission, and time integral of a gap between the average rotating speed and the wheel speed converted value is sequentially executed to obtain a relative angle. An allowable value for the relative angle at each mounting part of the wheel speed sensors and the rotating sensor is set, and the wheel speed sensors are determined to be abnormal when the relative angle obtained by time integral exceeds the allowable value.
