PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit a predetermined extending/contracting function without a concerned adverse effect of resonance. SOLUTION: An extending/contracting body T is formed of one body 1 and the other body 2 disposed between a relatively movable fixed side B and movable side A, the one body being connected to the fixed side B and the other body 2 being connected to the movable side A, and is extended and contracted upon input of external force. The extending/contracting body T includes a compression elastic body. The compression elastic body is composed of one elastic body S1 and the other elastic body S2 which are serially disposed while having different elastic moduli. In a neutral state of the elastic body T where the one body 1 and the other body 2 are not relatively moved, the one elastic body S1 and the other elastic body S2 are equilibrated in an extended state. On the other hand, in each former stage area before the extending/contracting body T is shifted from the neutral state to the most extended state and the most contracted state, both the one elastic body S1 and the other elastic body S2 are compressed to provide a reactive force, and in each latter stage area before the extending/contracting body T is shifted from the neutral state to the most extended state and the most contracted state, only one of the one elastic body S1 and the other elastic body S2 is compressed to provide a reactive force.
