PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a patrol in a short period of time when a storage is set as a patrol object. SOLUTION: A writing state bit map 234a correlating areas having data written thereto with bits and a patrol-object bit map 234b correlating areas to be patrolled with bits are provided in a CM 23.
