PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognition device, recognition method and recognition program capable of recognizing a recognition object regardless of recognition environment. SOLUTION: The recognition device 1 includes: detecting a position in a frame image of a person's specified region from time-series frame images composing a moving image (Step S1); deriving a plurality of types of parameter values indicative of the detected position of the region and a change of the position as a parameter value set for each frame image (Step S2); and recognizing an object subject to motion based on a time-series sequence of the derived parameter value set by referring recorded content of database where a row of parameter value sets arranging a plurality of parameter value sets in time-series are recorded in advance, associated with each object (Steps S3 and 4).
