PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent slipping-off of a thrust bearing from a rotational shaft, and to improve durability of the thrust bearing. SOLUTION: A retaining member 27 is constituted of: two split rings 28 radially engaged with an engagement groove 26 of an intermediate shaft 16; and a binding ring 29 binding the split rings 28 with each other to be a ring. Bearing abutment parts 28B of the two split rings 28 become equal to an outer diameter dimension of the thrust needle bearing 25, so that the bearing abutment parts 28B of the split rings 28 can abut on a portion in a wide range from an inner periphery to an outer periphery of the thrust needle bearing 25. As a result, the thrust needle bearing 25 is surely retained by the intermediate shaft 16. Further, rigidity of an inner circumferential side and rigidity of an outer circumferential side of the thrust needle bearing 25 are equalized to improve the durability of the thrust needle bearing 25.
