摘要 Provided is a convenient and highly accurate detection method, comprising preparing a specimen-origin component, which is highly suitable for detecting pork in a heat processed food at a high efficiency and high sensitivity by an immunoassay procedure without inducing any non-specific reaction, and using a polyclonal antibody obtained with the use of said component. Also provided is a detection kit therefor. In detecting a target substance in a sample by the immunochromatography method, a pork-origin protein contained in a heat processed food is detected by using, as either one or both of two reagent components, a polyclonal antibody as a detection antibody capable of specifically recognizing a protein around 23 kD (molecular weight 23,000) that is contained in heat treated pork.
